Decide how many days you want to offer your item at auction. Our system supports 1-14 days. Seven days is usually a good minimum, as it will give people plenty of time to hear about your item and bid. We have an auto relist feature if your item doesn't get bid on and you want to keep listing it. But if your item is not getting bids, it may be overpriced or poorly described so it is usually a good idea to change things before relisting instead of using the auto relist.
Enter a description. You can simply type your description into the Description box but we also support HTML. Feel free to use your favorite HTML editor (like FrontPage), then cut and paste your descriptive masterpiece into the Description box. Be sure to include such facts as who pays for shipping, how much you will charge for shipping. Also detail the type of payments you will accept, such as personal checks, credit cards, Paypal, will you ship C.O.D., and so forth.
Remember, when you sell at AuctionBrick.com you are guaranteeing that your item description is correct, particularly the condition! If you and your buyer disagree once the buyer receives the item, the buyer has a right to send it back to you (the seller). If your buyer returns your goods, you must refund them the entire winning bid amount of the auction. Notifiy us, and we will deduct the auction fees for that auction from your account. The buyer has 5 days from the receipt of the item to examine it and determine that it is as good as the seller says it is. If the buyer paid postage separate from the winning bid, the seller does not have to refund that amount. Return shipping is at the buyers expense.
Is this a Fixed Price Item? A Fixed Price item at AuctionBrick.com is simply an item with a fixed price. The price you set is the price you will get each time one of your items sells.

Below that is the Your Starting Bid box. The starting bid is very important. If you put a very low price just remember, you might get it! A good auction strategy is to start an item at the lowest price you are willing to sell it for, then anything above that is a pleasant bonus!
You have the option of entering a Reserve Bid, which is the minimum winning bid amount you will accept for the item. A better strategy is usually to simply make your mimimum bid the least amount you will accept fot the item.
Your Bid Increment is the the minimum amount that each new bid will need to be. It is a good idea to base your Bid Increment on what you estimate the vaule of your item is - maybe 50 cents or less if the item will probably sell for less than $10, $1 if it will sell for less than $100 and $5 if it will sell for more than $100. A well thought out Bid Increment will prevent anyone by beating another person out in a $500 auction by a mere 50 cents, and it will also encourage bidding by not forcing a bidder to bid $10 for a item currently bid at $5 which the bidder may want to buy at $7.
If you are willing to sell your item for a specific price above the minimum bid you can enter a Buy It Now Price. With the Buy it Now option a bidder can choose to avoid the competition of the auction by selecting Buy it Now at the start of the auction. You get a good price and the buyer gets the item at no risk of loosing it to another bidder. Once bidding starts the Buy it Now option goes away.
